Severus Snape may be the best practitioner of Occlumency of his era. Not even the Dark Lord could dig through the parts of his mind he didn't want to share. That being said, I effin love telepathy and brain shit, so hit me up and we can get weird about it.

I'm willing to play him marauders era, golden trio era, or post-deathly hallows AU. Preferred ships so far are Lily, Charity Burbage (roll her into an oc and pick a face idc we can be self-indulgent), and Hermione -- hear me out on that one: time travel, same age. Alternatively, post deathly hallows when she's an adult and the weird age gap is less weird because wizards live to be stupid ages— a la Post Tenebras, Lux. Basically, skip the skeevy inappropriate time period and think with ur fanfiction heart. I'm not outright against him with james/sirius/remus if it develops organically but I can't see throwing them together out of nowhere.
Other trash I love: Snape is Harry's dad surprise wow what a twist, or slow developing circumstances leading to him quasi-adopting Harry. That found family paternal shit, idk man. Also, post-deathly hallows retiree Snape who doesn't have to flex so hard about being an ahole and surprises everyone by just being tired all the time instead.
Honestly don't hold out for the best True Characterization I'm just over here living my best life playing the tropey problematic romance version of this dude, sorry ya'll. If I were to get super balls-deep in being IC he'd be way more poisonous, he's a truly awful dude realistically. You're getting Redeemable Fanfic Snape. Join me in the dumpster. We'll slow burn it.
